Heal for Your Heart Seed Grant through Northern Health and Elks Hall has assisted Nechako Valley Community Services in forming a local Community Kitchen. This is a new project for NVCSS and is designed to teach people with disabilities about smart choices while shopping, food preparation and storage, as well as food safety. There are five to ten participants who attend a cooking session twice a month.
